• Executes and manages new product innovation (NPI), modification to existing products; changes to asset base of product, technology, and processes for the assigned products to deliver targets.
• Monitors and evaluates product performance to propose improvement plan and execution. Handles end-to-end product management and launches according to approved plan and budget.
• Contributes and assists Destination Management colleagues in new product development processes of making new tour packages, different types of tour programs and local destination packages, assembling various travel components into final products and formulating new tour itineraries for sales and marketing teams to market with compelling propositions and competitive cost advantages to meet customized requests and expectation of customers.
• Conducts market studies and monitor key competitors’ products performances to submit timely market intelligent reports and recommendations to further enhance own product performance. Manages own products budget and produces product performance reports in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Updates detail information about the responsible tour products, costing [tour cost calculation] and pricing [tour fare], destinations details, destination products, modes of travel, accommodation and foods, sightseeing, immigration, health and security rules about various permits required to travel, other optional tours and all other available options, tour leader brief, tour leader standard talk; and shares regularly and timely with relevant team members and cross departments to obtain superior product and service performance.
• Keeps the team abreast of changes in the industry inclusive of legislations, regulations and ensures that all Sales transactions across the section are in legal compliance.
• Collaborates with relevant stakeholders in ensuring accurate representation and maintenance high level of business integrity in the industry by ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policy.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferably Tourism and Hospitality Management.
The equivalent of the same in practical experience is also acceptable.
Experience:
At least 1 years of working experience in relevant fields.
The candidate will also be better suited with experience in travel industry.
MS Office and Software:
Possess good computer skill, being proficient in Digital Social Apps, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook, and PowerPoint, which will all be necessary for the effective performance of the creation of reports, proposals, and recommendations.
